The Chiltern Hills don’t seem so far away, but today's main destination, Greys Court, lies in the rolling Chiltern Hills west of Henley-on-Thames. Greys Court was built as a comfortable family home from the end of the 16th century, but its history goes a long way back before that.

It is a place that reveals itself slowly, as you move through a series of walled courtyards past outbuildings and medieval towers towards the main house. The Brunners bought the estate in 1937 and restored the house, adding new features to the garden, so both are now a delight to visit.

In the morning we will stop in Henley for coffee, which we can have along the river's charming riverfront or on Henley's elegant high street.

To book your place, please complete the form below by 26 August.
