These are outings venturing outside London itself to enjoy visiting places of interest.
We visit locations such as country houses and gardens, picturesque towns and villages, and places of historic interest. The outings last a whole day, with a coach picking people up at East Finchley tube station in the morning and getting home by 6.00pm–7.00pm.
Further Away Days are open to all NLU3A members. You don't need to join an Interest Group to come along – just choose an outing that interests you and apply. To secure a place, you’ll need to pay in advance for coach travel and admission charges.
