To quote Sir Walter Raleigh "There are two things scarce matched in the universe the sun in the heaven and the Thames on Earth".
We are not so keen now on the blazing sun, but the Thames remains our great favourite.
We are returning to the River Thames this year, after a diversion to the New and Lee Rivers, and will follow the Thames Path along the south bank from Kingston to the Thames Barrier.
Our delightful "walks by water" are about three miles long and take place on the third Thursday of the month.
