Date: Wed 30 Jul 2025
Time: 10:30am
Group: Summer Programme 2025
Cost: £22.00 per person plus travel
Booking: Note that booking is required.

Venue: Bletchley Park, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK3 6EB

Meeting point: To be arranged by attending members but possibly at Euston station

Bletchley Park became the principal centre of allied code-breaking during the Second World War and historians have indicated that the work carried out shortened the war by two to four years, and without it the outcome would have been uncertain. The site gives visitors a chance to find out more about what went on at Bletchley Park, and there is also a new temporary exhibition for 2025 entitled ‘The Age of AI’.

Members will need to find their own way to the venue, but the site is less than 10 mins walk from Bletchley station, which is accessible directly from Euston. Members may have their own discount Rail Cards, but there is currently limited availability of advanced single tickets for a journey starting at Euston at 9.56am and arriving in Bletchley at 10.31am for £6.80 with similar priced fixed returns during the afternoon, resulting in a total travel cost of £14.19 (including booking fee on Trainline). These prices are not guaranteed to be available.
