This workshop is presented by Martin Goldman, who is Group Coordinator of the North London U3A Photography Group.
Almost everyone has a smart phone with a camera these days, and the modern cameras in them do a great job, sometimes almost as good as a proper camera. They are sophisticated, easy to use, and a lot of the thinking can be taken away from us. However, we can do better. In this workshop, we will cover some of the basic settings and controls of phone cameras and see how we can apply some of the known tricks of photographers. This should help you to avoid taking photos that are quickly deleted. In addition, there are many bells and whistles we can add to the phone camera to make pictures more interesting, and some of the more effective simpler apps will be discussed.
There will be the opportunity to practice what is learned.
Attendees should bring their phone with a camera with them.
