This group is aimed to teach people who have learnt the basics but understand that there is much more to learn, are keen to progress and want to gain more experience and confidence. We can accommodate up to 8 people at a session. We play prepared bridge hands as well as discussing any new learning topics. Advice is offered as to how hands may be bid or played and we consider how bridge systems and conventions may be used to improve the play of, or defence to, a hand to get a better result.
The weekly meetings are supplemented by bridge quizzes which are sent out in advance and we then hand out and discuss the answers at the following meeting.
