Highgate Cemetery is one of the ‘Magnificent 7’ cemeteries, the third to open in 1839. The cemetery is divided into two sides, East and West. The tour is of the West side (the older of the two) and will last approximately 1.5 hours - you will be shown the highlights of the West and learn about the occupants of some of the most memorable graves. Our guide is Julia Johnson, a U3A member.
